Old Stone Farm in Rhinebeck, New York — a stately residence transformed into a “secret” hotel named The Dutchess — is on the market for $8.5 million.

The 236-acre estate has a special-use permit and was formerly an equine therapy center. There’s no signage for the luxury hotel, whose high-profile guests have included Arianna Huffington.

The property includes a stone house built in 1768 with original details. It comes with eight fireplaces, two bedrooms, 4½ bathrooms and an artist’s studio. It’s 3,600 square feet, thanks to two additions — one from the 1920s and one from 2000.

There’s also a 7,200-square-foot barn, built in the 1780s, that has been transformed into a 10-room inn and spa, with a geothermal heating and cooling system.

The seller is entrepreneur Rameet Chawla, founder of Fueled, a New York-based app development company.

The listing broker is Wendy Maitland of Atelier by Wendy Maitland.
